No, PTS has an open-admissions policy for all courses offered through our Continuing Education office. Online offerings available through centers or grants will have their own policies, which will be made clear in the registration materials.

Courses offered through this online platform are awarded Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

People who excel in online courses are generally organized, motivated, independent, and have good time-management skills. Instructional methods vary by course but may include pre-recorded or synchronous lectures, videos, podcasts, PowerPoint slides, interactive chat rooms, blog posts, and more.

You will receive a confirmation email with course details, including a link to learnonline.ptsem.edu. When you click on that link, you will be prompted to create a log-in and will be able to see all courses you are enrolled in.

Your computer or mobile device must be able to run the most recent versions of browsers. Internet speeds of 4 Mbps and higher are recommended.

To be awarded the C.E.U.s for a course in which you are enrolled, you must satisfy all course requirements by the stated deadlines for the course. Requirements may include, but are not limited to, activities such as engaging course materials (video and readings), receiving passing marks on submitted assignments, participating in peer discussions, and participating in live sessions.

When live sessions are part of a course, attendance is required, unless they are noted as optional in the course materials. As a general rule, you may miss one live session in a course and make it up by watching the recording and completing the associated make-up assignment by the stated deadline. Read the course information page thoroughly to make note of the dates and times of live sessions and any course specific requirements.

Refunds are not given for purchases at online.ptsem.edu. Details about cancellations and possible voucher credit for qualified courses is found here. Or there may be additional information on the specific course information page.

Princeton Theological Seminary offers a 15% discount on regular rates for Princeton Theological Seminary alumni (degree graduates) and a 15% discount for Field Education Supervisors. Discounts cannot be combined. Alumni who register with their alumni.ptsem.edu email account will automatically receive the discount, or may contact us at coned@ptsem.edu for a voucher code. Field Education Supervisors may contact the field education office for a voucher code.
